Question: How will you protect the confidentiality of the data?

A: The data collection and data analysis process will be overseen by the appropriate Institutional Review Boards, whose role it is to ensure the ethical conduct of research including the protection of confidentiality. All project staff with access to the data will be required to sign a pledge of confidentiality.

Question: How will you account for the differences in practice related to geographic variables?

A: The random assignment of the attorneys into the intervention and control groups and the random assignment of cases will mitigate the effects fo the geographic differences in practice so that we can be more confident that any impact we measure is accountable to the intervention.
