November 2016 - CHILDREN'S JUSTICE: How to Improve Legal Representation of Children in the Child Welfare System, a publication from the ABA Center for Children and the Law, was released.
September 12, 2016 - Hosted and recorded webinar on the findings from the QIC-ChildRep
August 2016 - The QIC Team presented the Six Core Skills Evaluation findings and the Flint MDT Study findings at the National Association of Counsel for Children (NACC) conference in Philadelphia.
January 2016 - Data observations end for the Flint MDT Study
March 2015 - Data observations end for the QIC-ChildRep Best Practice Model Training evaluation.
January 2014 - The Flint MDT Study is launched.
October 2013 - The QIC-ChidlRep conducted the first round of qualitative interviews with Georgia and Washington treatment attorneys and other respondents who are collateral to the child welfare system.
August 2013 - In collaboration with the National Association of Counsel for Children (NACC), the QIC-ChildRep produces a video promotion to raise awareness about NACC’s Child Welfare Law Specialist certification program accredited by the ABA.
March 2013 - Another round of two-day trainings on the QIC Best Practice Model is held in both Washington and Georgia for new participating attorneys assigned to the treatment group.
November 2012 - Website enhanced - All state laws of 50 States are posted and all academic literature on child representation in child welfare cases since 1974 is available in searchable format.
August 17, 2012 - Don Duquette gave the most comprehensive report on the QIC progress to date at the Annual Conference of the National Association of Counsel for Children in Chicago. Here are part I and part II of his slides.

February 16, 2012 - First training in the QIC Best Practice Model in the Six Core Skills for treatment attorneys in Georgia; Two additional Georgia trainings in March.
August 2011 - January 2012 - QIC Curriculum Team of Tim Jaasko Fisher, Melissa Carter, Frank Vandervort, Kate Rosenblum, Robbin Pott, and Don Duquette complete the QIC Six Core Skills Training Package.

July 15, 2010 - QIC-ChildRep Website goes public.
April 26-27, 2010 - The First Advisory Committee Meeting convened Washington, DC.
March 2010 - Needs Assessment Key Informant Interviews begin for 10 states.
February 8, 2010 - The First Advisory Committee Meeting is snowed out in a record-setting, historic snow storm - “Snowmaggedon”.
December 9, 2009 - The QIC team makes initial presentation to the U.S. Children’s Bureau. The major collaborators are introduced – National Association of Counsel for Children, American Bar Foundation and KidsVoice. Children’s Bureau approves the work plan.
October 1, 2009 - U.S. Children’s Bureau announces that the University of Michigan Law School will serve as the National QIC for Child Representation. Professor Don Duquette is project director with Karl Ensign and Pal-Tech, Inc of Alexandria VA as major partner.
